I wish him the best...he's 77 now, so it'll be a hard row to hoe...but it has been done. This really explains his run-in with the police. He is certainly an icon in modern politics...and played an important role in the Valerie Plame case. I hope he responds well to treatment....

From what I read, the guy was pasted to his windshield and he kept driving anyway. Someone had to flag him down.

Apparently, accidents like this and no cognition of what happened is a fairly common way that these things are discovered.
