Been looking forward to this movie. The combination of Russel Crowe, Ridley Scott and Brian Grazer should make for a good movie.

Be sure to check out the interactive trailer and the Book of Origins. Cool stuff.

Robin Hood - In Theaters May 14th

Who's going to check this movie out?

It looks a little dark imo, i'll find it and watch at some point.

I do really like the Robin Hood BBC series though.

I'll probably go see it Friday when my kid gets out of school. Next week we'll go see MacGruber.

I don't know how old your kids are and I don't dare pretend to know more about being a father than you, but make sure that you want to take your kids to MacGruber. It's supposed to be funny, but a bit raunchy. I think it even might be R-rated.

Not only that but it looks horrendous...you could not pay me to go see that epic piece of crap.

he's 15, we went to see "Kick Ass" a few weeks ago. Does that make me a bad parent?

Not if you think he's mature enough for it. My dad was telling me how some lady at his work took her two kids, between ages 11-14, to Kick-Ass and was surprised how violent it was. Not sure how you can take children that young to an "R" movie without at least knowing why it's rated "R."

when my 18 year old son and I went to see "Hangover" a grandmother, mother and a kid of about 8 were in the theater as well. I don't think they got up and left, but I'm sure that was an interesting conversation in the car on the way home.

ok...back to our regularly scheduled topic.

I'm looking forward to Robin Hood, after the near debacle of Kevin Costner's surfer-dude chic affair, complete with a sappy Bryan Adams' song, the story needed a reboot that takes it back to it's roots.

I just hope this movie doesn't try to inject 21st century political correctness into the story.

I actually have a difficult time enjoying Crowe, but I'm still planning to see this. Might be a future Netflix event, but I'll watch it nonetheless.

This should be way better than the early 90's half baked attempt with Kevin Costner and a crappy soft rock soundtrack.

Did the name of the movie not give it away?

saw "Robin Hood" today, I give it a 5.5/10. It's not one of Ridley Scott's best efforts. Crowe and Blanchett are fine, but there's just something missing from this movie.

Saw this last night. It's decent but fairly boring. And drawn out.

I'd rather watch Braveheart again.

I liked it. The different twist on different men being robin hood was interesting and the period was depicted in an accurate manner.. I think it was a good set-up for the sequel......7\10.

Never ever thought I'd say, "Wish we had seen McGrubber instead." But, looking back, I wish we had.

Wait a second, I see now that McGrubber is next weekend. Ok. I wish we had stayed home.

another thing, the previews that were shown at the Carmike 10 in Knoxville sucked. Of the 5 or so, the only decent looking movie was "The Adjustment Bureau" starring Matt Damon. Two were for "Sex and the City 2" and "Twilight: Eclipse". Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a 2/3rds scale Dee Snider now and there's a scene in "Twilight" that's a complete ripoff of "Land of the Dead" when the zombies come up out of the water.
