So no Hunter in your lineup. I could see it. I could also see him being out there and batting lower in the line up. CMo leading off with the power behind him makes sense. I see one of the two combos and B looks really attractive right now.I think what we saw yesterday was close to the how. Take that lineup, but insert DD back into the OF, and move Villeneuve or Bargo to DH. Peebles catches and Stark goes back to being a reserve.
Yes, that's how I see it. If he's going to be a position player, Hunter is likely the casualty with Tears moving to CF.So no Hunter in your lineup. I could see it. A) HE, DD, KT in OF with RV/DB as DH
B) KT, DD, RV in OF with DB as DH
I hear the talk about RC but I am not seeing it compared to the other guys. As we saw last year we will need the full team throughout the year and TV will go with the hot players.
If you’re filling time, ask why there’s a difference in pronunciation between the way his last name is pronounced and Gilles & Jacques Villeneuve. They’re all French Canadian. Is it a tomato/ tahmato type of thing? I’m sure all listeners want to knowHis native language is French so he is hard to hear. I may need Stark to interpret when we interview him.

Before F1, Jacques raced in IndyCar, winning the Indy 500 once. He also had a stint in NASCAR. IIRC, he’s raced in the 24 hours of Lemans before.
I agree that that’s an atypical connection, but obviously they saw some possibilities.Yeah, Indy is where I know him from. He ran a couple of races for Bill Davis in Nascar (and various other teams since that). I mainly remember that because I figured the interactions between an Arkansas trucking company guy and a French Canadian open wheel driver had to be fairly entertaining.

I saw him race F1 at Indianapolis and NASCAR in Martinsville one fall. I don’t remember how he did in the F1 race, but he wrecked out on the front straight in Martinsville.
Scott Speed obviously did not make the transition from F1 to NASCAR well, either. On television I watched Speed do an Arca race. I later read that he was surprised that nobody carried his helmet for him like they did an F1 (and he drove for a back marker F1 team).
Maybe there was somebody before him that I can’t think of, but probably the most successful driver between IndyCar, F1, and NASCAR was Juan Pablo Montoya.
