Don't normally like remakes but I might give this one a shot.

I was never a fan of the original films but this one looks pretty good. I have to say though I prefer the silver/gray look to his armor than the black and something about his helmet after its painted black reminds me of lazer tag.

This looks like it has the potential to be good. As much as I love the original from the '80's, it is dated and campy.

I do hope Peter Weller has a cameo and perhaps Kurtwood Smith and Nancy Allen as well.

It looks better than what I was expecting. I doubt it can come close to the original though.

Did they ever find out who ever killed Roise freakin Larsen? Seriously that was one of the slowest moving shows ever.

*Spoiler*

Yep, it was aunt Terry the woman who was living with the kids in the house the whole time. She didn't know it was her own niece locked up in the trunk.

If the original was released today it would probably be rated PG-13 as well.

It's been a long time since I've seen it but I remember it being pretty bloody.

Or are you saying they would have toned it down for more mainstream appeal?

I'm saying for today's standards it really wouldn't be that bad. The original cut would be "R" but the one that made it to theater and we see on Blu-DVD would likely be "PG13"

This is a reboot meaning zero relation to the original movies.

Saw the trailer of it looks freskin great reminds me of IRobot.

So is Alex not dead before he becomes robocop?
The black armor looks topnotch also has a Detroit police badge logo on his armor as I was looking at the poster at my amc.

I saw this movie 6.8 out of 10.

There is enough uniqueness to be it's own vision of a uses story.
Obvious references to first two Robocop movies.
This mostly reminded me of I robot with robots patrols, entire city buildings looking shining and topnotch along with the motercycle and two in one a gun that also has a taser feature so Star Wars in that way.

Odd how the original was so prophetic about the fate of Detroit. I mean, it's not that bad yet, but they nailed it's decline.

Not really.

A movie made about going to the moon before it happened, I robot was made to be a movie that has a Chicago that could be recognizable in 15 to 20 years if I recall right.

There is art that imitates life, and life that imitates art.
Ave Ventura Using the dolphins missing a game winning field in a Super Bowl.
It's something that happened of a afc east team but not the dolphins it's the bills when they lost to the giants in a Super Bowl they failed to win with a missed field goal.
