Apparently everyone else agrees.
On some of the sites I look at, I'm seeing 90%+ of the money on Kansas.
It is rare that you see that kind of discrepancy pair with the favorite actually covering. I think the spread and money movement certainly bodes well for us.
The public bettor likely thinks "hey check out that low number for the #1 ranked team in the country against a team that just lost all those guys including their best player, no way they hang"
Not saying we'll win (though I believe we have a great shot), but Kansas covering the 4.5-5 would be a big payout to the overwhelming number of Kansas backers.
Call me crazy, but from my experience, its just way too easy. Vegas doesn't hand out gifts, they're much sharper than that. Don't be surprised if the Vols make a nice dollar for the books this evening.
