im not seeing how all the money has been on tennessee. more the reason to pick ku. kansas is a deserving number 1 and tennessee is outmanned and more than likely will be outgunned by KU. lol. should be an easy 470 bucks on this 1. i expect kansas to win by at least 10

This will be a blowout...hate to say it. Doesn't have anything to do with the 4 players not playing, we would have got beat badly anyhow, they are #1 and UT shouldn't be ranked.

Apparently everyone else agrees.

On some of the sites I look at, I'm seeing 90%+ of the money on Kansas.

It is rare that you see that kind of discrepancy pair with the favorite actually covering. I think the spread and money movement certainly bodes well for us.

The public bettor likely thinks "hey check out that low number for the #1 ranked team in the country against a team that just lost all those guys including their best player, no way they hang"

Not saying we'll win (though I believe we have a great shot), but Kansas covering the 4.5-5 would be a big payout to the overwhelming number of Kansas backers.

Call me crazy, but from my experience, its just way too easy. Vegas doesn't hand out gifts, they're much sharper than that. Don't be surprised if the Vols make a nice dollar for the books this evening.

How should ut not be ranked? Memphis is and we handled them.

What possible angle is Vegas working.....We are down to 6 Shcolly players, and if one are two have a bad day we are so done.....this should easily be -10....

I suppose you also think the spread for the NC would have still been 4-5 if Colt McCoy was never going to play.

I believe the line was appropriate for that game in the context of information known before kickoff. Your oddsmaking knowledge is lacking if you believe Vegas thought they were giving a "gift" to all for the FBS NC.

I digress, the thread isn't about that game. It is my hope that the Vols continue their first half effort for the remainder of the game.

If so, I hope you are not one of the many that will, in fact, be giving the gift.
