Feel free to post updates here... I saw that Mcrae had 48 in his game, and that Kenny Hall led his team to victory over Wayne.

48!!?? dang

yeah dont get excited. Jordan Howell dropped a few 40s and then in season hit that spell of amissing about 35 straight 3s and was then removed from roation for Louiosville game in NCAA tourney. heck last year I got my hopes up for Renaldo because his numbers were respectable. For Mcrae I hope it means he is turning the corner. the problem in the RTL is everybody scores a ton of points on dunks and fast break layups kind of like an all star game. It doesnt prepare for the college 3ball line and defense that is much needed.

McRae had those kinds of numbers last year. There's usually a couple standouts who average close to 40 a la Hopson, McRae. At the same time, the better players of the league average in the high 20s/low 30s.
I, for one, am not a RTL hater. I really enjoy the games and seeing future UT talent.

Deroyal with 6 LMU players beat News Sentinal team with UT domnated roster by 2. When a D2 school can do that, Coach Martin better get recruiting!!

A very good D2 school though with some former D1 players on their roster, not saying Martin shouldn't be recruiting though.

What are the odds that most of the teams in the RTL could beat the 2011-2012 vols?

Getting shredded on a daily basis was too much of a hit on his ego to continue. Had to go back to 12 year old girl's Softball to bring back the self-esteem.

Didn't want to start a new thread, figured this is the best place. ESPN CBB Nation blog (and video) of Tobias Harris entertaining some Knoxville kids. Glad to see a class-act exercise his relationship with his far-away college town.

Those guys running the RTL site suck! I thought there weren't games last night (didn't make it to the first night). GVX won't even post a schedule! My goodness.

I mean seriously. How hard is it to update a set of rosters and schedules once a year? These guys are incapable of preparing a site within a 48/49-week time frame. I would expect the site to not be updated all year, but it shouldn't be a problem to have rosters and a schedule posted for the 3 or 4 weeks of action that happens at the same time every summer.
