I'mcoming in next Monday to catch a night of this and am looking forward to seeing Watson play again. It's going to be a good time.

He was being guarded by a guy whose best scholarship offers were Santa Clara and Marshall. What's he supposed to say? "This is tougher than playing against Chris Paul." If I were Golden State, I'd be furious Watson is playing in this league instead of getting ready for Vegas or some other legit summer league.

Of course he shouldn't lie to be PC, I just thought it was not neccesary...maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I played in the league for the first two years. I was a small college guy and it was a chance for me to compete against a high level of competition, and gave me confidence going into my season. But it is nothing more than glorified pickup with coaches, refs, fans, and uniforms. Nothing more nothing less, these guys run pickup all the time in old stokely and now pratt, and it's the same thing. It's nothing different from what all college players do.

Apparently Woolridge sucked out loud tonight. Heard he airballed like 4/6 jumpers, and missed several shots right under the basket.

So I went, and it was fun.
Wayne was killin' from 3. He apparently missed like...4 shots all night.
Watson was fun to watch, and he was showin' off his And 1 passes.
Skyler "Silky" McBee was ok during warmups, but he was almost nonexistent in the game, it seemed.
Bobby Maze scored a lot, as did Scotty Hopson.
Emanuel Negedu had a lot of mean blocks, but his highlight was definitely his angry alley-oop dunk while posterizing John Mueller.
Tyler Smith didn't try too hard, and it was obvious.

And Steven Pearl got angry as he fouled out...

When is the last week of the RTL, because I'm pretty sure I'm coming in for a night.

I agree 100% with you on this, but isn't his real reason for being in Knoxville is that he's taking classes to finish up his degree? If that's the case then this is best action/practice he could have here in town while he's taking classes

This.

My friend is in his speech class and showed up at the same time as he did tonight. She says he's the nicest guy and is extremely humble.

Did anyone catch Tylers nasty alley oop from Tony White Jr? It was sick... I was really impressed with McBee. He has a nice shot... Hopson looked good as well but this is different from season play. Did anybody see Oglesby make an apperance behind the bench?

Steven Pearl is the worst player we've had since Boomer Herndon.

He looked like King James when compared to Woolridge last night. If the ball wasn't stripped, then he simply just passed the ball to the other team. His inside game is....well there isn't any what so ever. Jurick looked better last year than Woolridge did last night. I just saw last night's game, so hopefully he was better on Monday. I know he's better than he played and it's just one game, but it was simply comical.

i think you could be right.

he is already seems like he is getting comfortable with the team and doesn't seem afraid to step up and lead as a point guard. i guess that comes with the territory of putting a high school team on your back for years. despite a lack of good competition in high school and much help from his own team, i think skylar could go on to earn a scholarship and pt just like jajuan smith did a few years back.

Doubt it. While Silky does have a nice jump shot, he just doesn't wow me.

Plus, he reminds me of 2 people.
1. Any Bama QB, with that hair...
2. Steve Nash, with that sweaty hair...

I'm pretty sure Lofton was planning on doing the same this summer.
