I can already imagine how this is gonna turn out but here it goes lol. I haven't been on sports message boards a whole lot prior to the 2012 season but I've seen the multiple comments about Rod Wilks and just wanted to know what deal with him was because I feel like I missed out on something lol.

He was just named special assistant wide receivers coach for the Dallas Cowboys.

I meant more along the lines of where do all these little stories people make up about him come from lol

Long story short:

There is a poster here who was very high on Wilks coming out of high school.

People started poking fun at that poster by making "Chuck Norris" style jokes about Wilks' greatness.

He never quite panned out to be the player we hoped he would.

I wish him the best.

Did the Cowboys really hire him?

Oh lol. He also played WR in HS and they moved him to safety so that could've hurt him (see Teague) but that's as far as I'll go with it lol...thanks for the info

My question is, which name will live longer, Rod Wilks or Jim Bob Cooter?

Perhaps only Chuck Norris knows?

And only because Rod Wilks told him the answer?
