Remember when he left Tennessee for Georgia years ago. Word was he was a great recruiter but a mediocre coach. My, how the dialogue has changed! He had the Vol DL playing outta their minds.

He was coaching TEs for us if my memory isn’t failing me. That was one of the stupidest things Fulmer did. He could never replace Garner’s ability to spot talent that had a high ceiling

That's just a dumb move by USCe...glad they're making it !!!

I'm not opposed to giving Heupel and staff a raise after what they achieved this season, but let's be reasonable here.
I say give out enough where they are in the upper half of the SEC at least.
Once we win the SEC and Natty in the next two years, gloves are off.

Mr. Rodney Garner is the man. Pay the man. He is worth every penny. He makes men out of boys and does it the right way. His players that do it his way….will run through a wall for him.

Fulmer let him get away because he was always afraid of coaches that were better than he was. CJH will not make that same mistake. He welcomes great/smart coaches at every position. Go Vols.
