I was told last year by a Mizzo fan that they sell alcohol in the stadium..I was a bit surprised since they are in the SEC

You were misinformed. There is no alcohol sold in the general stadium areas. If you have a private suite, you may partake.

me and 4 others will be there...me and my buddies are doing an SEC tour by trying to go to at least one away game every year to visit every stadium

Me too! I lack Mizzou, A&M and LSU. Knocking off Muzzou on Saturday! 4 of us leaving from Knoxville in the morning!

Making the drive tomorrow - can't wait! This will be the first time since 1985 that my mom, dad and I have attended a game together.

Question: is there a local radio station that will carry the Vol Network? Seems as if for most away games there is one, but I can't find any info on it for this one.

"Anyone been to Columbia on a football weekend? Curious as to what are some good bars for friday night."

Due to family living in Columbia the past few years, I have been to about a dozen Mizzou games since then. Harpo's and Shiloh are fairly large and decent bars to have a drink. The food isn't too bad either. Flat Branch is my favorite place downtown. They brew their own beer and the food is great. However, here is always a long wait on weekends. Broadway Brewery is another good place. Willie's and the Fieldhouse are right next to each other and are pretty good. All of these are downtown and within walking distance of each other. I would recommend drinking Boulevard Beer out of KC. It is very good. The wheat and pilsner are the best.

I will be going with some family members this weekend, but I have no clue where we will end up. Probably the place with the shortest wait.

I was at the Mizzou-Georgia game last year and I am not sure if the drop-off has changed. We were tailgating on the side of the stadium without the press box. (I could not you give an east or west to save my life). About 2 or 3 hours before the game, charter buses dropped off Georgia at the steps leading toward the back of the stadium. It was kind of nonchalant. The players got off the bus and walked toward the stadium. Not much security or roped off area either.

Where will most of the Vols fans be at this game in what section? Trying to buy tickets just decided to go. Don't want to get stuck with a bunch of Mizzou fans. According to seating map it looks like sections 1-4? Is that right?
