Reasonable:
1. I'd drink too this year if I was an LSU fan.
2. LA sucks enough to make anyone drink.

At the 94 UT v UCLA (ie the PM coming out party) and parking our car on the fairway next to the Rose Bowl where we were 150 yrds from the hole, we took our 12 pk of Bud Lite and went looking for our friends only to see UCLA fans sitting on picnic tables eating sushi and drinking chardonnay.

Did you intend the double cut from point 2? LA being an acronym for both Lousiana as well as Los Angeles the city where they were in fact drinking. And I won’t even throw in the third possible meaning (Lower Alabama), a region of which I was also once an inhabitant

I am retired from Louisiana state govt. Once EPA hosted us at a coastal states conference/retreat in Maryland. When the business day ended, the LA delegation blew thru all the beer, then the only other thing we found was some white wine, so we wiped out that. I was standing nearby when one of the host ladies went for a glass of wine, only to find it gone. Oops, sorry. I guess we were boors. But we do like our tipple.

That’s sort of why I relate to them partly I guess. Plus, like us „hillbillies“ they are seen as backwards and uncouth. Vol fans and LSU fans never get To sit at the SEC „cools kids“ table with Bama and Georgia
