I know now that we can go up to at least 38 instead of 35. Not sure how the 27 is affected. Hopefully someone can say how much it will benefit the team, if there is a benefit.

Wish they'd start legislation up to increase the 11.7

With the NIL stuff now allowing football teams to get 3* preferred walk ons, I wish they’d just take 5 scholarships from football and give them to baseball.

Yeah,,, that's what we need give baseball's unofficial minor league more money that the majors don't have to cough up out of there pockets.

What? You’re opposed to allowing baseball programs to have 16.7 scholarships instead of 11.7 because of the poor MLB teams?

I don't think you understood my post.... I have felt for most of the years college baseball has enjoyed TV success that the major leagues have "used" college baseball as a minor league. For most programs where does the money for support come from? There is no way college baseball "pays it's own way". Where does the money come from? I think some way or other major league baseball as a way of funding the college sport more than other major leagues "help" there college counterparts. I expect college baseball played at the top levels is as or nearly as expensive as basketball. Basketball for the most part pays or nearly pays it way. Baseball I can't see it.
