What is the number that is allowed on active roster for this upcoming season? I know that it will be reduced to 34 next season ( fall 2025) Cain at On3 says it is 36( never seen that number anywhere), D1 , Baseball America , Google and Yahoo ,ALL say roster is 40 for this upcoming year.Just wondering where he got that number ? Is that a SEC rule? Also is travel roster different in numbers? Is there a limit on how many you can redshirt in a season?

The roster will need to be at 40 for the 2025 season. They were around 52 at the end of Fall Ball.

36 is active roster for SEC play. NCAA allows 40 on active roster for 2025 season.
