There were a lot of great rookie performances this year.
Offense
1.Robert Griffin III
3.Russell Wilson
Andrew Luck
2.Alfred Morris
Doug Martin
Matt Kalil
Defense
Lavonte David
3.Casey Hayward
Vontaze Burfict
2.Luke Kuechly
1.Bobby Wagner
Bruce Irvin
Chandler Jones
A strong argument can be made for Luck. He's breaking rookie records left and right. He also doesn't have a running game to take the pressure off like RGIII and Wilson do (ranked 1 and 2 respectively). Seattle has a top 5 D and Washington has a respectable D. The only thing the Colts have to hang their hat on is their pass attack with Luck at the helm. He has basically took a 2 win team to a 10 win team single handily.
Don't let numbers fool you. They're respectable. Sure they're 28th overall, but that's because their secondary has given up some big plays over the year. Their run D is top 5, as is their turnover margin sitting at 3rd (10th overall in forced turnovers). Total defense isn't all there is to measuring how good a defense is.Washington's defense is 28th. That's far from respectable
Heinz Ward was just on the DP show, and he was talking about how the Cowboys may have a decent gameplan for RGIII since they are getting a second shot at him. He pointed out that Cam Newton took the league by storm with his dual-threat ability, but had a sophomore slump as NFL teams learned his tendencies.
That got the wheels turning. Is Luck likely to be the most improved next season? With his style, he's more likely to figure out NFL defenses than they are to figure him out.
Having said all that, if you could take any of the 3 QBs, who would it be?
If it's to win a game tomorrow, I'm taking RGIII. If it's a career, I'll take Luck.

My point was Indy sucks in every category except Luck and the pass game.
