Since Roush is having trouble selling sponsorship for bot the #17 and #6 they are thinking about dropping to only three full time teams. The other side of the rumor has David Ragan driving the #71 next year as well and having the #6 team shut down. I'd hate to see the #6 not on the track anymore as a MM fan.

That would royally suck. When I started watching NASCAR, I didn't know any of the drivers but I really liked the looks of that red, white, and blue #6 Valvoline car. I didn't know who drove it or anything but I knew I liked that car. I named my new truck "Big 6" and my username comes from Martin and the #6 car. I'm a fan of Mark Martin first and foremost, but it would be a shame to see the #6 for Roush gone.

I've lobbied a long time for a maximum of three cars per owner with no facade owners like Jeff Gordon listed as owner of the 48 car.

Why are you wanting to eliminate competitive cars? If NASCAR limits the major teams to two cars the will just lead to even more start and park teams.

I'm just not a fan of the big team concept nascar has become. Cutting the field down to about 30 works for me too.
