Congrats to the LadyVols Rowing for their Conference USA Academic Achievements.

As most of you know, Rowing is a member of C-USA, because of a lack of Varsity participation of the rest of the SEC schools.

The C-USA Academic Honor Roll was announced yesterday.
25 of the Ladies made this Honor Roll

UT Lands 25 on C-USA Honor Roll University of Tennessee Athletics

Today they released the C-USA Commissioners Academic Medalists. For this award the athlete had to have a GPA of 3.75 or higher. UT had 14 ladies on this list. Great achievement!!

Lady Vols Earn 14 C-USA Academic Medals University of Tennessee Athletics

Also earlier this week, the Varsity4 boat was named the "Boat of the Week" by C-USA, the first time a UT boat has ever won this honor.

V4 Wins C-USA Boat of the Week University of Tennessee Athletics

Pretty good week.

Corrected the requirement for the Medalists. Requires a 3.75. Apparently my kid picked up some brains somewhere along the way.

Congratulations to your family and especially your daughter. Big accomplishment for her and all those young athletes. Brag on her. She deserves it.

Thanks. Much appreciated. We are indeed very proud of her. I even went as far as sending a message to my ex-mother in law who is a huge Vols fan. I hadnt had any communication with her in 20 years, :loco: but I couldnt help but brag a little!!

Thanks again!! :hi:

Yeah. She is a good kid (must get that from her mom. . . well. . maybe not!)

Very excited about what her future holds academically, athletically and as a person. She is a great kid, and she truly feels a responsibility to make those who were Vols before her proud of what she does with their school. Pretty cool.

Thanks. Much appreciated.
