Richard Petty Motorsports announced it has withdrawn it's offer to join to Clint Boyer, saying they have decided to concentrate efforts on the two existing teams. This could be euphemistic for we don't have the funding.

Boyer just was quoted by Speed Channel yesterday that it is not very likely he would return to Childress in 2012. Curious timing I am thinking, where else does he potentially go? Roush is set, Hendrick as well, Gibbs? Anywhere else is a move down.

Michael Waltrip Racing looking like the landing spot for Bowyer.

doesn't make sense. Caterpillar must have a hard on for Burton.

he hasn't won a race in almost 3 years and is clearly past his prime. if given the choice, i would take Bowyer over him right now. plus, he fits the Caterpillar persona.

Clint has Five Hour Energy sponsorship committed to him where ever he goes.

then i find it hard to believe he can't find a ride.

From what I've heard its around $10-12 million and between 20-24 races. The reason he doesn't have a ride is because he is asking too much money for his services.
