Titusville, Florida defensive end Rufus Williams has been committed to the Vols since late October, but over the last few weeks many have wondered how solid that commitment was to Tennessee. After spending the weekend in Knoxville on his official visit, Williams is leaving no doubt about where he is going to school.

 Holy smokes, that kid has some wheels. I know he's gonna be a DE, but he looks like he could easily be a LB. If these kids coming in this year develope like they should (rex & champy no comments please) we are gonna have a MONSTER defense in a few years.

He actually plays for a rival school of my good friends ex-hs and Im pretty sure they are a good sized school and are pretty talented. Maybe like a 3A school/middle of the pack competition in FL from what I understand.

Rival school puts some kids in D1 fwiw

ETA: just looked it up, yep they're 3A.

I am excited about any ballplayer named Rufus. Esp since it's just in time to replace Jim Bob Cooter.
