Just for everyone's pleasure here are the rules for the coming season:
1. Pick the top 5 drivers and collect the points they get.
(Note: make sure your pick/driver qualified, otherwise if you pick a driver that didn't qualify no points. This can be verified by checking NASCAR.com to see if your pick made the race).
2. Still give 25 points on picking the race winner and 20 points on picking the pole winner.
3. Give 15 additional points if you pick the race and pole winner.
4. Give 15 additional points if you get three drivers in the top 10 for that week.
5. When the "CHASE" starts give additional points
as we did this past year on picking who you think will make the CHASE. Picks on this will be done NLT race 20. (note: we had those who were interested to pick who they thought would make the CHASE and you got 5 points for each correct driver).
We also had the following in the CHASE starting with the 2nd race. Pick how you think the CHASE will end and collect 5 points for each driver that you get in the correct position they finish. None if your driver doesn't finish in that spot. (example: Jimmie Johnson to finish 3rd and he finished 2nd overall in points-no points received; Tony Stewart to win it all-5 points).
Will decide if we'll add anything else during the season.
One might be is who win the most races overall. If I do that, then the question will be asked no later than after 5 races. You could get 10 points for this. :question:
We had 29 people who made picks in the quals and one other person said they would play. Looks like a very busy NASCAR season on VOLNATION!:salute:
May need some assistance along the way and will be glad to have anyone to help, which means, maybe doing the points for a particular week (in case I'm gone). I know at three weeks that will be (one in late April and two weeks in October).
As I said before, I've got three other boards I'm working NASCAR pick'ems on (this one the busiest).
