RUMOR: A&M to fire Sumlin

This notion that he would succeed in the NFL and is coveted by the NFL is absurd. He can't win in his own conference let alone the NCAA. Why would the NFL covet an 8-5 coach that's steadily been figured out.

Does the "with cause" mean they wouldn't have pay his buyout? Because I thought he had a ridiculous one.

Every time an opposing team fires a coach means they have a 1 in 5 chance (guessing) of getting better in the next 2-3 years. A&M hired the next coming of Jesus according to a lot of people when this idiot took over. Sumlin has been mediocre at best except for his first year, Malzhan has been mediocre at best except for his first year.

Changing coaches is a risky enterprise that doesn't work out very well for most teams. Look at Texas, look at Tennessee, look at Nebraska, all powerhouses that gambled and lost If A&M thinks they are an elite school that can attract the best and brightest coach and fire them after a few years go ahead and do it over and over again.

Like I said, who cares. Let them eat cake.

I read they clashed with OC Jake Spavital and he wasn't going to make that change. I agree you don't make a change to appease players but when both your QB's have an issue it may not be the 19 yr old kids.

Iv herd a lot of fans blaming hake for there sucking . Once he left they got much worse
