We just don’t have anyone to stand up and make a statement in the AD department.
There is no reason we can’t have any coach we want. I’ve had season tickets for 11 yrs, spent ungodly amounts of money at games, merchandise. UT needs to open the dang check book up to a real coach. Tired of the “ rising star” hires
I’ve read this on The Big Spur this morning also. Also, good to see another Charleston Vol fan here!I’m told they are wanting Napier or Chadwell.
I live here in Chas SC, my SC friends said he was informed last night he was out but waited till today to meet with team. Supposedly news conference at 4pm. Just what I’ve been told.
Just like I was told we had Gruden too![]()
We have been a turnstile for 13 years of bad coaching decisions and a total lack of any continuity. We are also on our 4th AD, 3rd mBB and second wBB coach. All those buyouts in total have left us with nothing in savings. How can USC afford a bigger buyout with significantly less revenue?

Not just our football history of buyouts, but the whole athletic department has been lying buyouts is almost all sports.
Just ridiculous at how our Athletic department has mismanaged athletics. Like we are not even a DI school.
In fairness to Fulmer, Sexton will not agree to an offset clause for his clients. Butch had different representation when his deal was negotiated. As a practical matter, UTAD could've stopped paying Butch a couple of years ago and argued willful underemployment in a TN state court if Butch tried to sue. We got no balls up there.Or he will negotiate a slightly lower buyout to get rid of the offset clause.
This is why 13/14 ADs in the SEC put offset clauses into contracts and why Fulmer is an idiot for not including in Pruitt's contract.
