Saw where Derek Dooley is going to Alabama.

This is great news to the rest of college football. The dude is a 100% jinx. He can lose games won, get top players hurt untouched, get horrible calls at critical times, etc. I can’t recall any team he’s been associated with achieving what was expected of them.

But Little Nicky will no longer be the smartest guy in the room.

Dooley sucked as a head coach but he’s been an assistant in the SEC and NFL almost his entire career.

And teams he’s been associated with have consistently underachieved. Miami (w/Saban) LaTech, Tennessee, Dallas, NYGiants.

Do you think Dooley will have any impact on Bama? I mean I don’t think he matters one way or the other. This is just a resume padding move for a friend.

I don’t suppose analysts have much effect. There’s always that chance, though. We can hope.

He’ll be BJ 2.0. But Bad things follow this dude. The ridiculous outcomes here need no explanation. At Dallas one of the most underachieving teams for years was when he was there. Remember the terrible call on the WR Bryant in GB playoff game? He’s a jinx. I love him at Bama. Maybe he can work PT for Ga too.

LMAO. Another for the Saban Dip.

College football is screwed. A very, very few haves, and a huge number of have-nots. Unfortunately, when the wheel turned this last time, we were very much a have-not. I don't see that changing in this environment.

Oh boy!!! another one of our awful former coaches gets to smoke a cigar on our home field in a beatdown. I’m assuming Pruitt will be the next one to do it.

I dont think we can correctly call it "rehab". In order to be "rehabbed" you have to be "habbed" in the first place and Dooley never has been anything successful except having a famous last name........
