I wonder how much she spent on The Wedding That Never Happened?

Sheesh.

Of course, it IS better to back out than to go ahead and make a mistake.

Did you play the song by Nick lackey?

OWB, I had never even HEARD of Nick Lachey. I was just copying what the mother-of-the-bride had written down.

Wouldn't it have been easier to say "look, I dont want to get married right now."? There were people crawling around in sewer pipes looking for her. :yuck: Her fiance was run through the wringer. I'd say he's PO'ed at her.

This is going to sound strange, but I think he's very lucky that this happened. At least he got to find out what he's dealing with BEFORE they got married.

I hope the police go after this woman with every inch of power that they have.

What she did was utterly and totally ridiculous

Yeah I agree. It's barely believable that she may have been so focused on running away that she may not have immediately known that people were looking for her, but when she called 911 and started talking about being kidnapped, she clearly crossed the line.

she ought to have to pay back all the money it cost for the time they spent looking for her and several weeks in jail.... what really gets me is how much air time the story has been getting since they discovered she lied, she'll probably get a book deal out of all the publicity...geeze this country is starved for entertainment

better to play it the way she did, than to marry...build a life with kids, a home, equity, savings, then say oh well hunny...I need my space...im out....as so many have done. And yes....the woman had the eyes of a praying mantis

yeah , but come on , how stupid can you be, if you don't want to face the guy, runoff and leave him a message on his machine, or drop him an e-mail, don't call in a false kidnapping, she deserves fines and jail time!!!!

I hope she not only pays everything back but spends time in jail.

She didn't just cross the line but ran over it

I'd like to have her rationalize the logic that told her it would be better to run away without saying anything to anybody, and set off a massive manhunt, not to mention tormenting her family and fiance, as opposed to sitting down with her fiance and explaining that it's just not a good idea to get married at this time......

This woman's mind is a definite MYSTERY! :dunno:

With apologies to LIO . . . YOU SAID IT MAN!

I have no doubt that this was thought out and made sense to this woman on some level.
