Oh they made a list - and then said no one would even come close. Read the thread lmao.

BTW, I wasn't arguing that UT was RunninbackU (it's not). Just wanted to point out how delusional and confused they are as a fanbase. It got personal when he stated that WVU is more recognized nationwide than UT.

Well, I'm more interested in an athletic standpoint, and primarily football. But I agree.

I agree; with Auburn , Miami, Georgia, and about 30 other schools ahead of WVU....

sorry I guess I am a homer because I have never heard of him and I follow football pretty hard. maybe it's because WVU is irrelevant ever since RR left.

I live amongst these delusional WVU fans (along with a ton of buckeye fans), and they think since Slaton and Devine have gone to WVU, they are the God send for running backs. Granted, they are good tho.
All of my hardcore WVU friends all agree that a great WVU team would get a smack down from a mediocre Tennessee team.
It will be intersting to see how they do against LSU this year!!

Yeah, just looking at relatively recent success, I'd say its Miami

since 2003 cal has produced:

Adimchinobi Echemandu (late rounder, was in the league till last year)
JJ arrington (second round draft choice, on the eagles)
marshawn lynch (first rounder, currently second string in buffalo)
justin forsett (7th round, second string for seattle, fighting for first)
jahvid best (1st round, first string for detroit)

and i'll eat my shirt if vereen isn't on an nfl team and playing big minutes next season.

TN isn't RB U, but we've had our fair share of great ones. It's to bad our two best both had major knee injuries at the beginning of their careers.

You're basing your argument on a guy that's out of the league, a guy buried on the depth chart, two guys that aren't starters on bad teams, and a guy that hasn't played a down in the NFL regular season. Awesome.
