So many better prog bands than Rush, but they're pretty good. I hate Working Man... that song makes me want to vomit every time I hear it, same goes with any song from Snakes and Arrows. MSI's cover of Tom Sawyer is, IMO, better than the original... only because I'm sick and twisted.

there is definitely a lot of their songs such as tom sawyer that are mainstream radio tracks and those are probably my least favorite. but they have produced a lot of really good albums, and should be held quite a bit higher than they are in the rock & roll world. i have only heard bits and pieces of the snakes and arrows album, but their tour is pretty much like any show. they play a lot of songs throughout their whole span. but for a three piece they are extremely talented.

That's kind of like saying there are a lot of metal bands out there better than Black Sabbath.

My favorite Rush album has always been Hemispheres.

Definitely one of their best.

It must be an age thing. Anyone over 40 years old will tell you 2112 was their very best.

Actually very few from a musicianship standpoint

I can't even think about how many current bassists are heavily influenced by Geddy Lee.

That speaks volumes about a band.
