Did anyone around Nashville happen to catch the show at the Ryman on tuesday? It was a helluva rock show

I am jealous. The Ryman is a great place to see a show. I saw Elvis Costello there in '99.

I saw his first two shows at the Ryman, both of which were awesome. The first time he played there was when he threw a fan out and refunded his admission for requesting "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams. It was aweseome.

I also caught his show in Knoxville a week or so ago. It was pretty decent, but he only played like 80 minutes. He only did that one set, and there was no encore. He even ended on a kinda slow cover song. Also, the Cardinals sang some of the songs and Ryan just played guitar. It was kinda disappointing. I hope he gave a better show for Nashville

show in nashville was spectacular, although nothing will ever measure up to seeing him 2004, that is one of the best shows I have ever seen. i heard that knoxville wasn't his best, which surprises me, every review i have read from the rest of this tour has been good. guess everyone has to have an off night every now and then.

and vader, i am jealous that you saw elvis costello. and i'll have to agree with your statement on the ryman, it doesn't get much better.
