With Ryan Mallet leaving Arkansas would Jerry Jones pick him up because of his connection to Arkansas?

What do y'all think? I'll hang up and listen

In this situation, he wouldn't pick him because of the connection. He'd pick him because he is the best QB available. I think Tony Romo is a good QB but he always seems to tank during big/important games.

Romo is one of the most overrated players in the league. It wouldn't shock me if they drafted Mallett and he totally showed Romo up.

What made me think he would pick mallet was because Felix jones played at Arkansas
But as Romo go's IMO he's a pretty good QB but chokes in the big games

Drafting Mallett to replace romo would be exchanging one bag of crap for another. Has NFL bust written all over him.

Didn't see Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, or Luke Stocker on that list...terrible.

They had julio going 20th to the chiefs. Ingram like 23rd. No stocker in 4 rounds though. That's a joke.

That's what I noticed first, that he wasn't there. I must have missed the other two. I can't believe Stocker isn't on the list.

With all the money Jerrah has tied up in Romo, plus what he paid for Kitna, it would be a dumb move for him financially. But then again, Jerrah's spending rarely makes sense to me. McGee is progressing right along, and I would hope he would continue to progress in a backup role, possibly even 2nd string.

This is just mind-boggling that he did that. How is Kitna even in the NFL?
