Saban accuses Nutt of cheating

to land recruit Bobbie Massie. Saban allegedly called Coach Robert Prunty, the head coach at Hargrave Military Academy and accused him of selling Massie to Nutt. Then Coach Nutt called Coach Saban and they had a discussion about it.

Thats just what I got from another board, but people are all over this

To quote somebody who generally knows what they're talking about

"Massie is long-and-widely held as a battle between UGA and Bama. All the sudden rumors start on Ole Miss boards rooting from a booster who said Massie is an Ole Miss lock...and he knows cause he just called the Hargrave people. He cancels the UGA visit and picks Ole Miss the following Wednesday.

Come on. Unless 2+2=5 now, we know exactly what happened. The Ole Miss boosters got tired of seeing Nutt getting Nutt'd on in recruiting by MSU AND Alabama, so they've probably bought him Patterson and Massie to help him out. Just like how Alabama boosters saw that Dubose couldn't recruit or coach for ****, so they started buying him players.

And I don't really want to seem so hateful towards Ole Miss, but I think they've cheated and they are about to get screwd by the NCAA by-laws."

at least Saban was probably right about what he is saying, unlike a certain coach at Tennessee who is currently making a fool of himself.

just for a little history, I was affilitiated with the University of Richmond when, as a 14 seed, they sent SC packing, as a 3 seed, in the first round of the NCAA hoops tourney. Best team in SC history went home in the first round. Good stuff for us as Spiders.

Didn't they also lose as a 2-seed to 15-seed Coppin St. the previous year? Embarrassing.

Didn't the Spiders send Bob Knight and company packing as well? That's an upset. Beating the Cocks? Well everyone does that...

Yeah well... our home uniforms remind me of chocolate layered cake. I get so damn hungry during our home games. Mmmmmm cake.

That was quite a bit prior and they had Johnny Newman in those days. That started their reputation as seed killers, the W over the cocks solidified it.
