Wasn't a slap. You get a lot of unanimity on athletes that are cherry picking material. Core players, not so much. They are just as valuable in the long run. Nothing wrong with the star system, as long as there is a football player underneath. That is the hard part of winning.

Why not follow a good leader which Saban is when it comes to recruiting. Why not recruit who he selects, he's a recruiting machine the likes of which there has never been before. His player analysis is spot on.

I'll bet you a dollar to a dozen donuts Jones pays attention.

Has 3 star RBs? Paulk is a 3 star? Are you so desperate that you believe 3 stars are actually gonna win championships? How many 3 star Bama rbs are starting? Oh yeah, they don't recruit 3 star rbs. You have gotten too comfortable with mediocrity.

Raijon Neal had a higher ranking out of HS than Mark Ingram, and Marlin Lane would have as well - had it not been for his knee injury. JRM has what it takes to be a stud RB to if needed. We will be fine at RB.
