Wow - think maybe he moves on from Golding now? It isn't like he's been awesome, and it is Saban's defense anyway. It's an eminently replaceable position.

Yowza. Or it could be that the guys in blue actually do their jobs fairly. I know, I know...... "Back the Blue" only applies when there's a political agenda. Yowza.

I have a hard time believing they do their jobs fairly in Tuscaloosa. Just anecdotal from living close and what I’ve heard. If this were Saban and/or a star player it would have never seen the light of day.

Meh, Saban isn't an idiot and is rich as hell. As a matter of fact, Golding pulls in over a million a year which makes him damn wealthy in Tuscaloosa too.

I prefer the simple answer. Golding is an idiot and al.com reported earlier that he was still in the drunk tank pending his 12hrs or alcohol test. Yeah...... he's dumb. No conspiracies. Rich guys do stupid stuff too.

Slingblade's half awake comments to the Knoxville police said volumes about how well the Gumps have the local cops wired into the program. I strongly suspect Saban was informed before this ever saw the light of day and may have had a decision role.

Yep. Both the part where Pruitt was confused because he thought some State Troopers had already helped him with the previous offense (that he ended up having an outstanding warrant for) and the "I've worked at four places now and I've never had no crap like this except for here 'cause the people usually say 'Hey, somethin's not right here" line.

This. It’s safer to assume there are shenanigans in T-Town as opposed to an above the board equal enforcement. It is what it is, wish Knox PD would get on board and row in the same direction.

At a million a year you would think the guy could afford an Uber.

Well, the part where he ran over 12 people and 11 of them are in the hospital hasn't come out yet, has it?

That is definitely a joke.... 😳
