I hate to be this way. But I see this as the difference between the Alabama’s and the others. Others are trying to hire away mid majors and coordinators and hope it works. They are hiring coaches who finished in the top 10

I can’t imagine targeting a guy who recruits at a top 10 level and can’t beat 1 of the only 2 tough opponents he plays i.e. Franklin. DeBoer would be a HR hire but his disgusted just signed a NLI to play softball at UDub and their program is on par with Bama, so there’s no advantage for her to follow him if he took it. But maybe he’ll appreciate all of his games being in one region of the country and not making cross country flights to Piscataway, NJ to play a game.
