Saban had no answer for UT offense

AtoZ can be frustrating because they do put out good content and their podcasts (especially the one with Crompton) are great, but their headlines are so over the top sometimes.

Saw that yesterday and laughed. You didn't know how to defend the I formation?

Saban’s face when he said this was pretty funny.
“Tennessee got in what looked like an I-formation last week on the goal-line and our players actually did not know what to do” He then went on to say his players had never seen that before.🤣

Nobody runs an I formation anymore. Therefore, nobody runs their "base" defense. 90% of the time defenses have 5-6 DB's in the game.

Sure but not on the goal line. Going under center with a fullback is beyond comprehension for their DC and head coach? Come on

Wait till we run the Single wing against them on first and goal in the rematch 😉

I will give you a "not so fast my friend" comment.

I think the atmosphere in Neyland really got to Alabama that day. That is something Saban keeps denying but all the comments point that direction.

That being said, I think we have an advantage against a lot of teams remaining on our schedule. Georgia and Kentucky have both been suspect and I don't think their QBs can escape our blitz. If our offense continues to click like it did against Alabama, I actually think Tennessee can win both games and even win out.

My only concern is having a let down game. Also playing in Athens will be tough.

My biggest concern for our offense moving forward?

When, not if, folks come calling for Golesh. I'm sure CJH has the ability to get another and hopefully can reload like Saban does. But I'd like to see it like... after our second consecutive natty.
