Rumors are flying about Saban telling LSU he would be interested in coming back to LSU if Miles leaves. This could get interesting. :birgits_giggle:

Quote from Saban : "I will not coach at LSU, Arkansas, or any NFL franchise.........for less than 5 mil. Ooops did I say that last part out loud?"

those hypocrites over at LSU would welcome him back with open arms too. i can really see why they hate the guy. he only took them from a below mediocre team to annual national championship contenders. what a jerk!

Word in Birmingham today is that Saban has indicated he is willing to listen to LSU if Miles goes to Michigan. He has a no-buyout clause in his contract. Tubby has 6mil buyout at Auburn and is trying to renegotiate that. Sexton has them both....interesting conflicts...

Oh my, the holocaust that will occur in Alabama if that happens... another cataclysmic event in Sabanspeak.

not that I care too much about where Saban coaches but it would just be hilarious to see the reaction. The true sinking of the Tidetanic would take place

I just heard this from an attorney in my office (in New Orleans) who has contacts that are big LSU boosters. It's mind-boggling to think Saban would go back, but I think that LSU would welcome him with open arms.

This would be awesome but no way this happens. It's just to crazy. Bama people would be jumping off overpass's in Birmingham.

It would be great!!

Just when you thought 'bama ego's couldn't get much more bruised. Ah, the hilarity would be priceless.

The tide and Saban may have grown mutually tired of each other rather quickly and feel it is best to part company.....the tide collective probably feels if they enter into a $60M contract with a coach, they will go 9-3.

As much fun as this would be, there's no way this will happen. Besides, if this were really true Saban would have already come out and said, "there's no way I'm taking the LSU job." If he does come out and deny this, then maybe it's a possibility.

Highly improbable.

But, if he did leave Bama for LSU, I can only imagine the death threats the guy would get from angry Bama fans.
