First thing he said "I take full responsibility for not having these guys ready to play today. Every missed assignment, missed hole, not plugging gaps falls on me and the coaching staff."

Way to man up. That's why the man wins, he'll make sure those "mistakes" are corrected next time out.

All coaches say this except for ours.

I have not listened to Dooley's post game, did he take FULL resposibility or did he say same general stuff as usual?

If you have to point to Saban's press conference to find a reason why our coach sucks, you're doing it wrong.

I pitty Bama's next week opponent. Actually i pity the players in next weeks practice.

Now one has to wonder if our players fear Dooley's wrath or next weeks opponent?

No way I am going to listen to that garbage, but I was reading on Twitter and IIRC he said something to the effect that he believes Sal called a good game.

With which coach are the players more likely to come back fighting after a loss...

The one that takes the blame or the one that dishes out the blame? Hmmmm...

I'm sure you've watched it by now. In case you didn't, it was the same ol same ol. However he's proud of the boys for playing hard. I believe him on that. Sure would be nice to hear him take some blame. I mean some real blame - not PC, half coach speak blame.

Wow, a coach actually taking responsibility for his players being unprepared, obviously another thing dooley failed to learn while working under saban. Thats probably why he never got promoted to be the offensive coordinator. Saban didn't want dooley to p off his players by blaming them for his short comings. That and the philosophy of always running on 3rd and long and throwing DEEP on 3rd and short probably didn't sit well with him either.

Not proving Dooley sucks we know that, but Saban could throw every player under the bus with his ego and his ability to go out and fill the roster with more elite talent if the current guys don't like it. Yet he puts it on himself. It would just be humbling to see DD admit some wrong doing and had he done it in the past it might have endeared him to players and fans more. I have as much of a problem with Dooley's handling of responsibility as I do his coaching, maybe more.

I wished we had him as president, he fesses up!
