Sad day for the Vols 9/16/05

Poor play management by the Vols.
So many coaching decisions that were horribly wrong today.
I don't care about CBS announcers being biased{clearly was} but it was a sad day today. We had the game from the start. Where was the big play makers? I am calling the coaches out. We got the talent,depth, and skill to win the game.
I don't care about winning percentages or what they already did. It don't impress me. What does is wins in the win collum, wich we didn't get.


Oh yea I don't give a crap about spelling, I was just worried about the game.
the best team didn't get the win.

Sorry guys, I lived in knoxville, pulled for them when everyone else counted them out, but I think it's time for a change at the TOP with the talent and skill we have that was a crucial loss that we should have won.
I hang my head low tonight.

Sigh..for the 10th time....

UF's offense did NOT beat us tonight. Their defense did and our own ineptness. Not trying to take anything away from the Gators' win, because they won fair and square, but if OUR defense had been as good as theirs, it would be a different ballgame. Too many third down conversions allowed, too many big runs broke open...

We need some consistent defense and special teams, FAST!

Our defense can only do so much. If they are on the field for most of the game, UF is going to get some easy plays and they did. I'll leave it at that.

I don't think bad play calling on the O's part is luck.!!! We need a change in O management

Yeah we need O management. It would have been a win if they did not get 6 points, plus a sure TD called back on us. It was luck, the swamp was not reclaimed tonight, by no means. They had a lucky win.

that was what was lacking tonight
LOL UF offense put more pionts up and that was what matters so they did beat us.

There is no luck in football.

Coaching is everything. You coach your players to have focus, then the other team SHOULD NEVER win by mistakes. We just played with a complete lack of focus on defense and the offensive line, and special teams.

Ourdefense played well (16 should win most games)... their's played better...our special teams were attrocious.

OUR defense showed up.....we held them to 2 field goals when our special teams was askin them to score.....that one drive near the end shouldve made it 10-7....the O didnt execute,nor did the special teams

and by the way, Randy doesn't coach punters (somebody was bound to blame the shanked punt on him)

It's not that our defense sucked, they played well. They were just TIRED as a result of our sucky offense...

Yea but he coached the team that didn't put up enough pionts to win the game.
Winning is what matterd not O or D or special teams. We lost, time for a change.

By the way dissect my post I am going to bed but one thing that won't change when I wake up will be the 20 bucks I put on UT at halftime or the L in the w/l collum. We had the better,bigger, more talented players tonight and I am tired of taking up for the coaches.

Well, I'm drunk, mad, and sleepy. I think they got lucky. Like I said before. Something was awry during this game. Maybe the moons wer not alighned, or whatever. They got the lucky breaks and got the points. Some would say that lucky breaks were UT mistakes. Hey, thats a rhyme. But anyway you look at it, not convincing for the UM "scheme".
