I doubt he plays actually. This was a well kept secret and I was really suprised to see it released at all. I had no idea prior to yesterday about it.

Its obviously tragic and a very private deal. I can understand the family wanting to keep this personal tragedy away from public consumption.

That's horrible. No one should ever have to bury their child. I'm sorry for him.

Exactly. I wouldn't want the media to constantly shove it in my face, even though they "may" have good intentions. Some things are best left private.

Being the child of a current student, will the infant be honored at Silver Taps? Not sure how that works.

Thats a good question actually. Maybe something being discussed prior to the next Muster. I wouldnt be suprised if there was some type of scholarship fund named in her honor being arranged. It's certainly a tricky deal because she was not a student, but obviously directly related to the University. With Polo and Joey V it was much more black and white.

It wouldnt suprise me at all if there was something mentioned in a small ceremony at the ball game, but I would hope that the Media ie: GameDay crew does not make this their "feel good/ tragic" tid bit they put together every week. God I hope they have more respect than that.

I'll post here if I find out any news on this though.

Thanks and Gig em. #BTHObama

After a quick glance, I'd expect a Scholarship to be named after her. Not sure about a ceremony at the ball game. I dont even know if Golden will be at the game at all really. I sure as hell couldnt do that. I dont even want to imagine how I'd be if I lost one of my two angels.

Javonte Magee's Grandmother passed away during fall camp. He attended the funeral in La and hasn't returned to campus. Rumors are he is giving up football.

T&P to Golden and his family for now and the future.

That is tragic. He'll be in my thoughts. The importance of a football game is dwarfed in comparison to something like this. I'm sure the school and team will help make sure he's got the support system in place to help him work through this.
