This is by far the saddest quote I have seen this week...

Vanderbilt has won more SEC games this season than Tennessee has in the past three seasons combined. - ESPN

Definitely puts our current state in perspective...

Thanks for sharing that wonderful bit during Thanksgiving week. It will give us all something to remember. Now, go away.

So vandy has had a couple of good seasons , so that makes them world beaters now? Don't think so ! :nono: :bad:

We also got Miss. St. and Alabama, and they got Ole Miss and Auburn. They also will win 8 games without beating a team that ends up in a bowl game*.

* - unless Missouri can beat A&M and Ole Miss can beat Miss. St. The Bulldogs could lose but A&M no way.

If ESPN is going to cite previous years' records, then surely it can talk about how lopsided this series has been. Give me a break. It's like they're grasping at straws with this kind of stuff. It may be true, but it's not indicative of things to come

Thanks but that is old news.
That's o.k. Let them enjoy their short-lived warm fuzzy.
Heck, if I beat a team every 20-30 years I would be happy too.
GO VOLS!

For the Vanderbilt program, I'm happy for them. They have been dirt for so long! This is unchartered territory for them! BUT WHY TAKE IT ALL OUT ON TENNESSEE?

Here's another quote that is sad.

Derek Dooley has beaten more teams with winning records (2 currently...Cincy last year and NC State sits at 6-5) than Candy has in the last two seasons (they've beaten all of 0).

Lets please keep things in perspective. Vandy has SEC wins against teams that have combined for 4 total SEC wins. Wow, that's impressive.

I know yesterday Dr. Punch on sports animal reminded listeners that when Fulmer was fired he had a 75% winning record. I sat on my couch last night reflecting on the good times.

Hopefully it is all about to be over and UT will be on top again.

Mississippi State???! Really?! Is that how far we've fallen to use Mississippi State as an excuse?? Really?? Wow.

It's more impressive than having 0 wins in 7 SEC games. And if we beat Kentucky then our SEC win will be against teams that have a combined... wait for it... 0 SEC wins.

So yea, what Vandy has done this year is impressive.

'Cause it's how they think. Here in Nashville candy fans cheer louder when Vols lose than when their teams win. Most pathetic fan base in America.
