I know that we won’t need him or miss him. But if you missed it, he had a breakout game tonight. He was the third QB they went to, after the offense couldn’t get out of their own way. In an ugly game, he essentially put that team on his back, and he is the solitary reason they won that game. While not eating ice cream and talking nonsense, the commentators were swooning over how he took this game over. He has the goods on the field, and hopefully he has gotten over not being able to find his own ass with both hands off the field.

It's a crying shame how all that went down.

Dude was tailor made for a Heupel system.

Salter made his choices though. I can't really blame Heup for cutting him, especially considering where we were as a program at that specific point

At this point, it really doesn't matter to me what he does except in the highly unlikely event we end up playing them in a bowl or something.

Dismissal was good for everyone. Heupel showed he was serious about expecting players to meet a standard. Salter may have gotten the message that he is not above the rules. Liberty is serious about student conduct. Hope he grows from the experience.

I sincerely forgot, what'd he do?

Caught him on Instagram Live right after his reinstatement, talking noise with some Memphis area high school girls and smoking something that didn’t look like vape material. Mentioned maybe transferring to Memphis. Once again, this was day one of his SECOND CHANCE. Sometimes it isn’t a tragedy when they do it to themselves.
