Every time we kicked off or punted to the Ducks, their dynamic speed and superior blocking was a threat to break one the distance.
Conversely, they raced downfield to cover their kickoffs and punts extremely well. The overall team speed was clearly a factor in every phase of the game. Not even mentioning that they were also more physical along with being nimble and quick. They had lightweights that broke tackles and held their blocks on our defenders all afternoon.
Speed and physicality have to be the focus of Butch's recruiting. We have gotten way behind the curve in both of those vital areas.
