I hear the media talk about "heroes" all the time. But nothing will ever compare to the type of hero that literally lays down their life for their comrades.

It's comforting to know there are still some real American heroes left in our country.

The title is probably keeping this thread from getting the attention it deserves. He really is a hero, and I can't imagine the pain and suffering he has gone through.

Give me a better title and I'll edit it.

Definitely something all need to see. Gives perspective and reminds us of just how meaningless our conversations on here are at the end of the day. Your mouth just drops when hearing about this young man.

They're all heroes in my book. Just that he has paid a serious price to get recognition.

He is an American hero that should be looked at as an example for young men. We all should believe in something bigger than ourselves. This Marine does.
