I will start out by saying I was adopted. I dont have a problem with it but I will add I think straight couples should be looked at first. I think a son or daughter gains by having a mother and father to learn from and a male and female teach different life lessons. If it is between having to put a kid in a foster home or giving him a same sex couple, the couple is far better. Its not that a gay couple cant be great parents, I just feel like a male and female figure is important to a child.

Im not crazy about the idea but to me anyone willing to take care of and love a child is better than a no family at all.

We always complain about the lack of a father in families so isn't it better with 2?

Growing up in a stable environment (gay or straight) is more beneficial to a child. If there are loving parents who want to raise a child to be a contributing member of society then I am all for it. It helps us all.

I don't see any reason that stable, responsible homosexuals should be excluded from the adoption process.

Agreed... Homosexual parents with a stable relationship are a better option than heterosexual parents with a broken relationship.

Some studies need to be done, though, on the differences between the two different types raising a child.

I'm going with the majority on this one.

Gay or Straight, a home with parents beats a foster home or governmental facility any day.

This is actually one of the primary reasons I am also for allowing Gay Marriage.
