We're a week out from Florida and this game is looking really scary again. Right now we're very vulnerable offensively and we haven't fared well against Florida in sloppy low scoring games and that's what this one will be. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see us winning this game. I hope I'm wrong! But I'm setting my expectations so I don't get gut punched by another really bad loss to Florida.

I’ve been watching TN football too long and I’ve gotten over the gut punches and in a strange way expect it to happen. I want us to win as much as the next person, but have seen the script way more then I’d like.

I got a feeling we play well vs UF I'm going but I don't think we lose less than 3 this year even if we beat bama, we need a better o line coach, secondary coach, secondary players, wr coach why can't they ever be open idk. This isn't the staff yet especially losing Golesh people have no idea just how good that man was. I like banks beyond him no one.

Tennessee at home tends to be "good Tennessee." Maybe the controlled environment on offense helps them - no crowd noise, easier to communicate, I don't know what the reasons might be. I think Florida's within their reach to win. Alabama, no idea. Good Tennessee can compete with Alabama, although Milroe's dynamic playmaking is going to be a huge challenge. Average Tennessee cannot, and furthermore, average Tennessee will be at risk against Kentucky. UK throttling UGA on defense should be concerning at this point.

Please, lose that Golesh nonsense. Yes, Golesh was amazing and had us rolling offensively, but he also had good line play and a veteran QB that fit this system. We don't have either now. Last night we tried to take shots in the first half and got sacked multiple times. Your play calling is only as good as your o-line and we don't have an o-line right now. Those are just the facts.

After the lackluster play on offense against Oklahoma and Arkansas I have given up hope on this season and looking towards next. I thought this year could turn out special but 2025 was always the all in season and our best shot. They need to let Nico get his lumps now instead of babying him. They have tried too hard to protect him. Time to let loose. If he throws 3 or 4 picks in a game so be it, but keeping the training wheels on this far along hurts us next year. We need to know what we have at the QB position. If that means another two or three losses this year then whatever. Either Nico gets better as the season progresses and shows promise or we go transfer portal hunting a QB in the offseason. Sh*t has got to change and we need to know what we are working with.

We lose a lot next year and will still be bad on the o-line unless drastic changes are made.

Tennessee hasn't fared well against Florida period. Over the last twenty years Florida has won like 19 out of 20 of those games.

We do lose a lot, but 2025 was going to be Nico's junior season and our best shot at making a run. I dont think anyone expected us to compete this season (preseason) with a QB starting for the first time. I got my hopes up after the 4-0 start but reality has set in. He is still really young and learning to play in the SEC. He needs to grow up a lot these last 7/8 games and go through the growing pains or we need to look at giving him competition.

I ain’t getting my hopes up against Florida no way, no how. Been burned way too many times before when we had teams that could shoulda woulda won. And the team we saw last night will absolutely not beat Florida.

We lose Cooper and Spraggans, I know from the line, and others without good depth behind them.

Unless we raid the portal for solid linemen, we have an even worse O Line in 2025. Nico can't get much done without having time or without receivers who can get separation FAST.

I'd like to be optimistic but look at our O Line depth chart and get back to me.

I’m not as confident as you knowing we replace both lines and lose Bru and Squirrell.

This is the yr to make a run imo.

2026 will be our best opportunity if Nico returns. And that is a possibility if you go by what you’ve seen so far.

Thank god this is at home. Im not sure about Nico but he’s so young so there is hope. This year and last year we are a running team. Our defense is a bit better. But wish we had a Hendon hooker with his receivers experience. We will see. I knew Arkansas was tough. Especially on the road. God just beat Florida. We all HATE Florida.

I’m pretty sure everyone on earth had us at best 4-1 at the point in the season!

We haven’t fared well against Florida in high scoring games either. For that matter, we don’t fare well against them in any kind of game. I have pretty much given up on this game. The year, the coach and the team doesn’t matter. We’ll forget how to play football for that one game regardless of how good or bad they are. Not expecting a win either.
