One of the coolest things I've got on my phone. Finally went live on Verizon and I've already used it a half dozen times. Got a couple of "you can't pay like that here..." responses and I just smiled and completed the transaction. Of course them I had to explain

It you aren't familiar, it's a way to use your phone to pay on any terminal with a magnetic stripe reader. No need to set it up with a special app like Apple or Google pay.

I'll have to look into it. What phone do you have?

I have the S6 edge and like it a lot

I have the s6. You're supposed to be able to pay with it at 90% of credit card readers.

Forgive my ignorance, but is this similar to Apple Pay? Or Paypal at the register?

No, this can be used at any swipe credit card reader anywhere. The others require nfc which also needs an updated terminal

Cons would be the need for an s6 or above and is limited to certain banks right now (BoA, US Bank and Citi)

It sounded cool when they announced it. I don't have an S6 but I've been itching to see it work. The idea that it shoots the magnetic info over to regular card readers is cool.

I've never herd of this, sounds cools. I use Apple Pay quite often and it's nice

Only readers that just won't work are the ones on gas pumps where you push the card into the device.

Aren't all terminals supposed to start updating g to the NFC kind by 2017?
