Freeman is the better actor, Jackson is the bigger movie star. I'll take either one.

Freeman is the better actor. But Samuel L is probably more entertaining

LMAO at Goodfellas being a "notable" movie for Jackson.

Why not include Coming to America, True Romance, Patriot Games, Menace II Society, Juice, The Exorcist III, Sea of Love, and Jungle Fever?

Jurassic Park gets no love? Star Wars? Unbreakable?

BTW, Billy, this is a good comparison. Both of these fine actors had to play small parts for many years before their, respective, big breaks. I say it's a tie.

I am gonna have to go with Freeman... Shawshank and Dark Knight puts it over the top. I know Freeman's role in Dark Knight was not large but I really like that movie. Both are really good actors. Shawshank was an awesome movie

Lazy comparison.

One is a brash and brazen character for the most part while one plays the more senior gentleman role.

I know I just got trolled but the only thing that seems to put them in the same category is their skin color.

Racist comparison.

FYP

It's true. There's only one thing these guys really have in common.

How about Jackson to Bruce Willis, and Freeman to Anthony Hopkins?

I say Freeman due to his early role as Easy Reader on Electric Company.

God I'm old.
