Migrant who ganged up on NYPD cops in Times Square Nabbed By ICE after slap-on-the wrist jail sentence

One of the migrants who kicked a cop during the now-infamous Times Square brawl has been nabbed by federal immigration agents after serving a slap-on-the-wrist jail sentence for the assault.

Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel — part of a gang of unruly thugs involved in the beatdown of two NYPD officers cops on Jan. 27 — served only three-quarters of a one-year sentence.

But he found the feds waiting when he was released on Oct. 10, officials with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement said this week.

ICE didn’t get a helping hand from city authorities, sources said — the feds tracked the case through media reports and social media posts.

No-Bid Migrant Contractor DocGo’s Successor Reaped $450M in NYC Taxpayer Money

A disaster response company that replaced the controversial DocGo as a migrant services provider for New York City has cost taxpayers more than $450 million over the last year, The Post has learned.

Councilman Justin Brannan (D-Brooklyn) called on the city and state comptrollers to investigate Garner Environmental Services’ contract in a scathing Thursday letter exclusively obtained by The Post.

Garner had previously inked a $30 million emergency services standby contract with the city. When City Hall ended its $432 million no-bid contract with DocGo in May after months of backlash, it handed the troubled company’s responsibilities for sheltering the city’s tens of thousands of migrants to Garner.

But Brannan, the council’s finance committee chair, who’s running for city comptroller, argued that Garner has reaped nearly $457 million, according to city records — more than DocGo’s widely criticized $432 million contract — and without being meaningfully audited and scrutinized.

“As DocGo’s contract with NYC ended, the Mayor’s office projected Garner’s management of asylum seeker relief services to save the City $10 less per person per night than DocGo,” his letter states.

Drug deal? Shot another gang member? If it is either of those I really don't care.

Adams says he’ll work with Trump on migrant crisis — while Insisting NYC Will Remain Sanctuary City

Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday pledged to work with President-elect Donald Trump on the migrant crisis — as officials insisted that the Big Apple will remain a sanctuary city.

A somber, if at-times combative, Adams held a post-election news conference in City Hall in which he largely dodged questions about Trump’s promise to conduct mass deportations of illegal immigrants.

Instead, the mayor and city officials sought to reassure New Yorkers concerned about what Trump’s gobsmacking 2024 presidential victory would mean for the Big Apple, especially for its immigrant communities and thousands of migrants who’ve flowed into the five boroughs.

“New York City will always remain a city of immigrants and the beacon of liberty around the globe,” Adams said.

This is the way, although I would declare martial law briefly and send the military into cities to help round up the violent criminal illegals. When the left howls about martial law, the justification is anti-American leftist Mayors and Governors who are ignoring Federal law. If they interfere, arrest them too.

And how would you identify only the illegals you wish to round up?

So you're only interested in rounding up those who had been arrested previously? The tweet you included made no such distinction

No, I want them all gone if they dont have a legal reason to be here. I dont really care how they do it.

Of course, that is never going to happen for a few different reasons so in the real world, I would emphasize getting out the criminal illegals first as that will have the most impact.

Yeah, that is not the way to do anything.
