Eyes in the sky calling the offense have some advantages over on the field calling...
(1) With the angle you can more quickly see formation adjustments up front to confirm game plan and aim of attack on line...
(2) You can see line surge in particular spots ... as well as mismatches
(3) Even though you have a spotter already giving you D&D at the end of each play you now get a clearer picture as to field position... and possible a quicker play call
Why did I mention these...?
With young quarter backs and an emphasis on an improved ground game, you can now be more Proficient at where to attact the LOS with formation types versus missmatches as well as getting the play down quicker so to not rush our NEW QBs
These are just a few points...many more could be written on...
I agree being in the box should give him a better vantage point with a quicker response, I just don't know if it will make a difference when it comes to him making the right call at the right time.
