He wasn't the offensive coordinator for UK. A great way for Saban to lose his job would be to elevate a UK assistant to one of the top positions at a school like Bama. Bammers would be calling him an idiot before his first game. Justifiably.

I think Sanders made it as clear as he could under the circumstances, that the offense UT ran while he was offensive coordinator was not what he would run if he was given a free hand.

Regardless, Saban would not put up with an offense that has about 45 false start penalties per game. Playcalling was just one of many problems that plagued UT offenses during Sanders' time.

Same reason some UT fans say Fulmer has become complacent and can't motivate. Tubberville is a mediocre coach, really.

Has the administration there ever really been solidly in his corner? They were ready to bring Petrino in three years ago. If he hadn't so thoroughly dominated Alabama, he'd be in real trouble.
