Barnes has never been a rah-rah guy, so it was great to see the assistants motivating, encouraging and coaching the players up! Beautiful!

Jalen Johnson found it last night! After he knocked down a few 3s, you could see the confidence. One quick catch and shoot 3 was Beautiful! No hesitation and total confidence.

Yves is probably shooting 70% in the paint. In the second half, he was begging for the ball inside. We need to get it to him more and let the inside-out game start working better. The more aggressive he gets 6 ft. and in....the more dominant he’s going to be, and not to mention more foul shots. He does it all...3s, mid-range, blocks, dunks, screens and defense...and he’ll just get better.

Fulky, JJJ and Vescovi played well! Bowden played great and all 40 minutes!

We don't win that game without Vescovi. Know need to balance his minutes as he gets his legs under him, but need more "set" plays for him. He's money from 3pt range. He could end up being the difference between us winning 18-20 games and winning 15 range...as long as everyone else progresses. We're going to have some off nights for sure...just need to keep at it. JJ for sure is needed...he could be another X factor for us.

I pretty much gave up any NCAAT hope at Lamonte. But, this team still has a lot of gelling and the coaching staff is reshuffling mid-season. We have some good talent to get seated in roles. Who knows, we could make some waves here and there.
Knock off UK once and I always call the season a success.

I'm glad we won but Missouri lost their advantage in this game when Tillman went out. I will take any road win reguardless of circumstances.

Yep. But I feel that was balanced out because we're missing Plavsic and Lamonte. Don't you love how the broadcasters tend to talk over and over and OVER about the missing player from the other squad., but rarely even speak about our losses.

I'd like the SEC Network better if they just showed video of the games with no broadcasters. IMO, they add absolutely nothing to the games I've watched.

Truth! And last night it seemed like the ambient game noise was blotting them out half the time, so that the chatter mixed with it underneath just became annoying.

I saw all the journalist write ups on this where all of the mentioned this, but NONE of them mentioned that we lost LT, our best player, for the season...though he was struggling all season w/ his shoulder. Kinda equals things out, in my opinion.

Bill Rafferty, Gus Williams, Jimmy Dykes and a stoned Bill Walton are probably my favorites

Teams with legit centers can seriously expose us and there want be too many nights when we don't see at least one in conference. Late circumstances really helped us out.
