The college I attend, the University of North Florida hosted the Gators tonight in a midweek matchup. We ended up belting 13 hits and beating them 10-5! Now I realize that the Gators probably sat a few of their starters but I have no doubt that Tennessee can take this series from them. The gators appear to be slumping a bit and seemed sluggish. I have no doubt that our speed and aggressive base running will earn us runs against them. It was the aggressive base running combined with a few simple hits that gave North Florida 4 runs in the 2nd inning tonight and they never looked back. Go Vols!

Florida has had a habit of taking inferior teams lightly this season. Look at their other midweeks, even in wins, they struggled to beat several teams, often needing late rallys.

I could see us taking a game, but when they're on, Florida is the best team in the country.

So hope the Florida vs CSF, South Carolina doesn't show up but the one that lost a series to OlMiss Rebels which included a major throwing error in game 3.
If the Vols can play like they did in the win over Kentucky Florida is going to have a hard time winning.
