Isn't this unbelievable. For the second week in a row, we lose to another team we have dominated during the Fulmer reign.

Let me make my position clear. The problem wasn't coaching or play calling. Sanders called another good game. The game plan was appropriate to beat the Gamecocks.

The problem is that we still can't execute. We still can't pass, catch or hold the ball. :realmad: For the second week in a row we fumbled the ball on sure game winning touchdowns. :bad: Passes seemed to be directed at the Good Year Blimp that wasn't even at the game.

The good points were: 1. the running game seems to have returned. Foster adds another potential and showed his ability, 2. the punting game was great. Colquitt showed his ability and nailed the ball inside the 10 on several occassions, :eek:k: 3. we finally looked good on kick and punt returns. :lolabove:

The players must step up and play to their nationally heralded pre-season expectations or we could possibly face two more losses this year. :cross:

Agreed, the VOLS did look somewhat better Saturday. But they now have a week to get things messed up again!

That might be because SC is a worse team.

:moon2: No it doesn't sound like Coach Fulmer. It sounds like someone who might actually have an understanding of FOOTBALL above bush-league and the whinning Bleecher Bubba Quaterbacking Corps.

I emphatically believe that if our boys in Orange had played up to their ability level, or at least our expectations of their abilities, we would be 7-0 Today and in the hunt for the National Championship. The dropped passes, fumbled punts, missed field goals, fumbles and failure of the receivers to run their patterns are not Randy Sanders fault.

This inept play will not improve with coaching resignation(s). The quality of play will only improve when the players decide that they are going to step up to the plate and actually do what is expected of them. The players must demand perfection from themselves and expect it from their team mates. Improvement will not take place until the players make it happen.

I find it interesting that everything that has happened has been the coaches' fault for some of you. Some on this board and elsewhere are now speaking of Coach C's return. :cross: It appears from some of the scuttlebutt to be the second coming of the Messiah but if I remember correctly there was a group of equally narrow-minded whinners, naysayers and ne'erdowells after his head a few years ago too for his lack of offensive creativity.

How long will it take for you Bleecher Bubba's to scream for the axe to drop on Coach C's neck? Will you at least wait until he completes the first series of plays? I doubt it. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Monday Morning Quaterbacks and Bleecher Bubbas  ruin the game for everyone. :thefinger:

I have to disagree with you there. Playcalling has a lot to do with execution.

Think about what makes the players decide to step up to the plate. Remember what Pitino did when Roddrick Rhodes didn't step up?

Coaching has everything to do with motivation and detail. If the coaching makes you pay attention to the smallest detail, the players will in turn grow closer to the perfection that you speak of.

I couldn't agree more. Does everyone reading this realize that we are only 3 fumbles inside the 5 yard line and two muffed punts away from being 6-1?
